Istanbul : Topkapi Palace, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Grand Bazaar Ankara : Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, Mausoleum of Ataturk Cappadocia : 13th century caravan inn, Goreme’s rock chapels, Zelve, Uchisar Pamukkale : Travertines, Hierapolis Kusadasi : Ancient city Ephesus, House of Virgin Marry Pergamum : Acropolis, Asklepion Canakkale : Troy, Gallipoli and visit the Anzac Cove and the Lone Pine Cemetery, Chunuk Bair, Gabatepe War Museum Day 1 : Istanbul Arrival and transfer to hotel. Welcome briefing. Day 2 : Istanbul – Ankara - Cappadocia Early morning Flight to Ankara. You will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel where you will meet travel companions with whom you will be travelling along throughout the tour. Next proceed to view Hittite artifacts at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. Visit the Mausoleum of Ataturk, father of modern Turkey. Drive to Cappadocia, touring a 13th century caravan inn en route. Overnight in Cappadocia. (B,D) Day 3 : Cappadocia Tour Goreme’s rock chapels decorated with 6th century frescoes, Zelve’s cliff-side Byzantine monastic complex and Uchisar’s natural citadel. Dinner and overnight in Cappadocia. (B,D) Day 4 : Cappadocia-Pamukkale Drive to Pamukkale. En route we visit the famous mouseleum of the sufi philosopher Mevlana. Today is the day to pay a visit the unique Cotton Fortress, the white calcium cascades, and also pay a visit to one of the first modern spa centers of the ancient World, Hierapolis.(B,D) Day 5 : Ephesus & St. Mary’s House – Kusadasi Today is the day to pay an early morning visit the unique Cotton Fortress, the white calcium cascades, and also pay a visit to one of the first modern spa centers of the ancient World, Hierapolis. Then we drive on to Ephesus to tour the famous ruins of Ephesus and St. Mary’s cottage. Overnight in Kusadasý (B,D) Day 6 : Pergamum – Troy – Canakkale Visit Pergamon, tour Troy with its famous wooden horse and continue on to Canakkale for overnight. (B,D) Day 7 : Gallipoli – Dardanelles – Istanbul Morning departure for Gallipoli and visit Anzac Cove Lone pine cemetery,Chunuk Bair, Gabatepe War Museum then across the Dardanelles and drive to Istanbul for overnight .(B) Day 8 : Istanbul Full day tour to include: Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, St. Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. Optional: Dinner with belly dancing entertainment. (B) Day 9 : Istanbul Transfer to Airport for your return flight or possibility of extending your holiday (B).
